More than 1800 works by over 500 named authors and over 300 anonymous works, from the Shrewsbury Fragments of the late 13th century through the Elizabethan and Jacobean period to the end of the 19th century. Based on the New Cambridge Bibliography of English Literature (1969-1972), with an aim to provide the complete published corpus of verse drama for writers active before 1900.
